How long will a steel signs last?

With very little maintenance required, metal signs can last
for decades as they not only resist the effects of the weather but also don't
fade when exposed to strong sunlight. If you want a long-term sign, metal is
arguably the best material option out there.

What is mill finish (DIY) on steel?

Mill finish is the surface texture (or finish) of metal
after it exits a rolling mill, extrusion die, or drawing processes. This texture is usually rough and lacks luster. It also may have spots of oxidation.

Is powder-coated (Painted) steel better?

1.Durability: Powder coating steel increases the component's
durability and longevity by providing a protective layer that resists chipping, scratching, and fading.
2. Visual Appeal: Powder painting steel can boost the component's visual appeal by offering a variety of colors and finishes.
